The bridge of Plaka in Arta is the largest one-arch bridge in the wider area of Balkan. It has been characterized as a monument that must be preserved with history dating back to the anti- Ottoman revolt empire, the 1st Balkan war and World War II. The bridge was built in 1866 and collapsed during the floods of 2015, to be finally re-built in 2020.
